The Managing Director of Globus Education Systems (GES), Cameroonian-born Macellous Mbameg, has announced the availability of over one thousand (1000) places of fully-funded Indian Government scholarships, to study in world-class universities in India.
Mbameg, who is a higher education crusader, has urged students in Cameroon to take advantage of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree scholarships being offered by the Indian Government and apply, in order to further their studies in preparation of a brighter future.
He said winners of the scholarships will be known after a competitive exam, organized for applicants in July by the Study in India Board. and facilitated by GES.
“All what applicants need to do is to do is register with us, write a two-hour exam in July and pass to benefit from the massive scholarship scheme”, he told The Horizon . “The scholarship is for bachelor and master’s degree levels only.”
He particularly appealed to Upper Sixth students to get registered so after the GCE they will write the exam and when the results are out in September, they can easily travel to India.
He said, “The scholarships are offered by the Indian government to specific universities in India”
Mr.Mbameg, who is the accredited representative of the selected universities for the scholarships, affirmed that the over 1000 fully-funded scholarships cover tuition, accommodation and feeding.
