The Second District Police Station, which was formerly located around Malingo-Junction in Molyko, the neighborhood that hosts the prestigious University of Buea (UB) has been relocated to a new site near Lycee Bilingue de Buea, and opposite the GCE Board Office

Its former building was only being hired by the State of Cameroon, as it was owned by the Bakweri Cooperative Union of farmers.

.Observers have described the new location of police station as more conducive and spacious than the previous

This reporter learned that the relocation was also prompted by strategic security reasons.

According to police sources, the police new building project was conceived    since 2010 but only realized this year.

Rated as one of the best police offices in Buea,it is headed by  Superintendent of Police, Nana Ngongang Rogers, who has not relented in publicizing the new location to service users .

It should be noted that apart from the Central Police Station in Buea, the subdivision has three other District Police stations which include: Buea Town Police and Muea Police Station.
